Websites for Mulhouse built in Basel

Weblio is a studio in Basel building websites for retail, trades and suppliers in Mulhouse and the surrounding agglomeration. In French, and in two languages if you want it.

Fixed price from CHF 499, no hourly billing

Ten minutes from the station to the Place de la Réunion and in between, the tone shifts.

The tram has run through the city since 2006, and as a tram-train it carries on into the Thur valley without a change. Mulhouse was once the Manchester of Alsace, and the traces are still there: the university now works in the old factory halls of the Fonderie, and a few kilometres away sit the largest railway museum in Europe and the automobile collection. Running a business here means dealing with two kinds of audience who find you along very different routes: passing trade in a city centre fighting for every empty unit, and buyers at industrial plants who never look for a supplier in a pedestrian zone.

Retail and hospitality in a city centre under pressure

When a unit two doors down stands empty, a lot gets decided before anyone sets off. So the phone has to carry what a shop window no longer carries on its own: what you offer and what it costs, the opening hours including the closing day, whether you can book, and where the nearest car park is.

Trades, construction and building services

An old building in the centre and a house on the edge of town are two different jobs, and anyone who does both should show both. So finished work in photographs rather than a list of services, a service area stated plainly, and a number someone answers on a Friday afternoon too.

Suppliers and workshops serving industry

Here it is someone from procurement reading, and they check differently from a private customer: what exactly you make, in what quantities, with which certifications, and who the technical contact is. That belongs on separate pages you can attach to an enquiry one at a time, not in a company brochure as a PDF.

Practices, law firms and consultancies

People looking for an address here have usually heard a name already and come to check it. What they want then is not photographs of consulting rooms but areas of work, hours, whether anyone new is being taken on, and which language the conversation happens in. Plus a page that can be forwarded on its own.

We do not want to be the firm your site cannot carry on without us

In Mulhouse too we run into it often: a business depends on a site built years ago by someone whose number nobody can find any more. Getting out of that does not call for a new dependency. Three things follow, and they sit in the offer rather than in a promise.

Domain, credentials and files are in your name

The domain is registered to you, not to us. You get the credentials as soon as they exist, and the content can be taken away as a file at any time. If you cancel, that happens without questions and without anyone keeping a key. This is not a concession, it is the normal case.

One contact person, and they do not change

You do not get consulting first, then project management, then someone from production. Whoever answers you also works on the file. That saves the round in which something gets translated, and it means a question produces an answer rather than a meeting.

If your site still runs, we do not rebuild it

We look at what you have first. If the site is technically sound and merely badly maintained, we move it and put it back in shape instead of selling you a rebuild. Only if that costs more than a new build do we say so, and then with both figures side by side.

The train takes half an hour, the paperwork takes a little more care.

Direct trains run several times an hour and the journey takes just under half an hour. It barely matters day to day anyway: progress sits in the dashboard, questions go through the ticket system, WhatsApp or a short video call. What separates us is not the distance but the paperwork. French law applies to your website, a different VAT procedure applies to our invoice, and both get settled before you commit.

A figure that does not grow after you commit

Onepager from CHF 499, Starter from CHF 699, Business from CHF 1'099. After a short conversation the number is in writing, together with the list of what is not included. Billing follows scope, not hours spent, and every add-on carries its own price.

Net in euros, you declare the VAT yourself

The invoice shows a net amount in euros and cites the autoliquidation under Article 283-2 of the Code général des impôts. For your accounts that means the tax appears in the same return once as due and once as deductible, where you are entitled to deduct. If you fall under the franchise en base of Article 293 B, the case is different, which is why we ask beforehand.

If you process data for your own clients

Your site, the mailboxes and the backups stay inside the EU, and the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR reaches you before launch. If you work with your clients' data yourself as a supplier or service provider, a second chain hangs off that: the forms running on your site then belong in your own record of processing activities. Tell us in the first call what your site collects data for.

If you sell online, accessibility is no longer optional

Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act has applied, transposed into French law: anyone selling goods or services electronically to consumers has to offer an accessible site. Microenterprises are exempt under certain conditions. Whether that applies to your business is something we clarify in the first call: then the effort sits in the quote rather than in an amendment.

In Mulhouse plenty of firms depend on a site whose builder nobody can reach any more. That is why the domain and the logins are in your name.

How we work

Six questions that almost always come first here

If your question is missing, write to us. The legal and tax notes on this page come from practice and do not replace professional advice.

Three fixed-price packages: Onepager from CHF 499, Starter with up to three pages from CHF 699, Business with up to five pages from CHF 1'099. Booking, a shop, a second language, a members area or a newsletter are add-ons with their own price, and you get the list before you commit. What stays afterwards is the hosting, billed monthly and cancellable to the end of the month. Maintenance is optional; if you take it, it runs for at least six months.

We look at it first, before proposing anything. Often it is not the site that is missing but the access: the domain with one provider nobody remembers, the hosting with a second, the content with a third. In almost every case that can be brought back together, even without the people from back then. If the technology is sound, we move the site and put it back in shape. If it is not, you get both figures side by side and decide yourself. And if credentials really are lost, we tell you what can be recovered and what has to be set up again.

Yes, and no travel appears on the invoice. The journey from Basel takes just under half an hour, with direct trains several times an hour. We still suggest a short video call for the first conversation, so nobody has to leave the shop or the workshop. Once a project becomes concrete we come over once; we do not travel for interim questions, otherwise the journey ends up in the fixed price.

The calculation here differs from the one right on the border. A shop in the centre rarely lives on walk-in trade from Basel; a supplier, on the other hand, often lives on clients from Baden and north-western Switzerland, and those write their enquiries in German. If a noticeable share of your revenue comes from there, German comes before English. Two languages means two separate addresses each with its own text, not a widget laid over the French version. It is an add-on with its own price, not a surcharge on the whole package.

No. The area covered takes in the whole agglomeration and the edge of the Sundgau. Illzach, Riedisheim, Rixheim, Habsheim, Wittenheim, Kingersheim, Pfastatt, Lutterbach, Sausheim, Baldersheim, Battenheim, Morschwiller-le-Bas, Brunstatt-Didenheim, Zillisheim, Flaxlanden, Eschentzwiller, Zimmersheim, Dietwiller, Bruebach, Reiningue, Heimsbrunn and Galfingue are part of it, as are Wittelsheim, Staffelfelden, Richwiller, Bollwiller and Pulversheim to the north. Where you sit changes nothing about the price, and there is no travel surcharge.

If you need someone to sit at your meeting table every fortnight, run a campaign across several channels or field a team for a platform, take an agency from here, there are enough of them. That is not our work. Ours is a fixed price, one contact person and a quote you can set line by line against any other. Plus a site that stays yours, even if you hand the next stretch to somebody else.

Tell us what should be built in Mulhouse, or what should be able to carry on differently

A short video call, in French or German. Afterwards a fixed-price quote in euros lands with you. No obligation, and if moving your site costs less than rebuilding it, we say so.
