Weblio sits in Basel and builds for Stuttgart firms, down in the basin as much as up on the slopes. The figure in the quote is the one on the invoice.
Fixed price from CHF 499, no hourly log
The rack railway runs from Marienplatz up to Degerloch in ten minutes and takes 205 metres of altitude with it. On foot you use one of the more than four hundred Stäffele, the public stairways that stitch the slopes together. And anyone giving an address here usually gives two: the city district the administration keeps, and the neighbourhood people actually say.
A firm that has served the same three customers for thirty years never needed a site that explains anything. The moment an enquiry arrives from outside that chain, the site is the first thing anyone opens: processes, batch sizes, measuring equipment, and who actually picks up the phone for a technical question.
In an office of twenty engineers the site is read more often by someone who wants to apply than by someone who wants to buy. Projects, tooling, working hours and a short route to an application belong on it just as much as the list of services.
The first question here is rarely the price, it is access: does the crane reach, does the skip fit in the street, how far has material to be carried by hand. Show what you have already built on steep ground and you save half the site visit.
A place in the city centre needs its menu and opening hours on a phone. A Besen, the growers' tavern, opens only a few weeks a year, and it is exactly those weeks people search for, along with access and how you can pay. Both fail at the same point: on details somebody would have to change by hand once a year and then forgets.
An agency set up for the big plants and their suppliers brings approval loops, brand guidelines and framework contracts along with it. For a firm of fifteen people that is the wrong machinery, and we are not going to rebuild it. What we do instead is below.
No corporate presence in miniature
No brand manual, no sign-off across three levels, no editorial plan for five subpages. You describe your business once, and the questions that come back come out of the build itself, not out of a concept round in front of it.
Changes are not something you order from us
Opening hours, works holidays, a new project, a different extension number: you change that in house, and we walk through it with you once at launch. Anyone who has to raise a job for every small edit stops doing it eventually, and then the site shows the state of the day before yesterday.
We write down what you do, not how unique you are
Technical firms spot inflated copy instantly, because they have to read enough of it themselves. So the site carries processes, sizes and limits. If a sentence in the draft strikes you as too thick, we cut it, without a discussion about it.
There is no through train from Basel to Stuttgart, you change in Karlsruhe or in Mannheim, and together it is just under three hours. Via the A5 and the A8 it takes about the same. We are not talking that time away, we simply set the work up so that it never depends on a journey: the day to day runs through dashboard and ticket system, plus WhatsApp and video. What the distance really changes is the invoice and the legal ground.
CHF 499 for the onepager, CHF 699 for Starter, CHF 1'099 for Business. A short video call is enough, after that the sum is in writing, and it is not weighed against hours spent at the end. What an add-on costs you see as its own line next to it, before you commit.
You get quote and invoice in euros, you convert no exchange rate, and no Swiss QR payment slip will reach you from us. Because we deliver from Switzerland to a customer in Germany, the VAT treatment belongs in the quote and not in a footnote on the final invoice. How you record it in your books is a question for your tax adviser.
The servers for hosting, mail and backups stand inside the EU, and hosting comes with a processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. The more sensitive part is usually the forms: a site that takes job applications collects different data than an appointment request, with its own retention period and its own deletion. We set that up while building, not once the first application is sitting there.
Germany's accessibility act has been in force since 28 June 2025. It bites on certain consumer offerings that run electronically, a booking path or a shop for instance; micro-enterprises providing services are exempt. Whether your firm belongs there is something we check before quoting. Contrast, keyboard operation and visible focus rings we build in regardless, because they also help the person reading the site in bright sun on a building site.
In Stuttgart the plant next door sets the scale. For a firm of fifteen people we do not build a corporate presence in miniature.
How we work
Question missing? Two lines through the contact form or by WhatsApp are enough. On the legal points we tell you what we build in; whether it is enough for your case is for a law firm to judge.
What budget do we have to reckon with?
There are three packages at a fixed price. The onepager begins at CHF 499, three pages as Starter at CHF 699, five pages as Business at CHF 1'099. Add a booking system, a shop, a newsletter or a second language and you see each price as its own line in the quote, before you commit. After launch two items remain: the hosting, which you can cancel at the end of any month, and the maintenance, optional and running for six months. Invoicing is in euros.
When can the site go live?
Reckon on two to four weeks, whatever the scope. More subpages mean more hours on our side, not more waiting on yours. The count starts on the day images and texts are complete. If the site has to stand on a particular date, mention it in the first call, then we set the start earlier.
City district or neighbourhood, which one belongs on the site?
Stuttgart has 23 city districts and 152 neighbourhoods, and people mostly search for the neighbourhood. Heslach sits in the Süd district, Fasanenhof belongs to Möhringen, Rot to Zuffenhausen. Two things follow: the postal address appears in the imprint and in your business profile in exactly the same spelling, while the neighbourhood belongs in the running text and in the heading of the contact page. A list of all twenty-three districts in the footer, on the other hand, achieves nothing and looks like what it is.
What does German law require from our site?
A legal notice whose mandatory content is listed in section 5 DDG, reachable in one click from every subpage: name, address and legal form, a contact through which someone is quickly reachable, plus commercial register and, where it exists, the VAT identification number. For the regulated professions the professional title, the chamber, the supervisory authority and the professional rules come on top. Then there is the privacy notice under the GDPR. And whatever is not strictly required for the service may only store or read something on the end device after active consent, that is section 25 TDDDG; a box already ticked does not count. What we have built in we list for you at launch. Whether it is enough for your case is judged by a law firm, not by us.
Our address is in the region rather than the city. Is that a problem?
No. The Stuttgart region consists of the city and five rural districts, 179 towns and municipalities in total. Esslingen, Ostfildern, Filderstadt and Leinfelden-Echterdingen are within reach, as are Ludwigsburg, Kornwestheim, Ditzingen and Bietigheim-Bissingen, plus Böblingen, Sindelfingen and Leonberg, Waiblingen, Fellbach and Winnenden as well as Göppingen. Further out the same holds for Reutlingen, Tübingen and Heilbronn. Where exactly your firm stands changes nothing about the way we work.
Will you come to Stuttgart, or should we take someone local?
For the project start and the handover we come. From Basel that is half a day, which we plan for rather than slot in at short notice; for a single question in between we do not travel, because half a day on trains would show up in your invoice. Should you want somebody who looks in at the workshop, stands beside you at a trade fair or lays references from the neighbouring district on the table, you are better served in Stuttgart, and providers are plentiful here. From us you get instead a fixed price in euros, the same contact person across the whole project, and contracts you can leave again. Two quotes side by side answer this question better than we can.
A short video call, held in German or in English. You then get a quote in euros, in writing, with everything that is included and with what is explicitly excluded. No obligation, and we will not call you unasked afterwards.
